October 2013 Press release.
New club leaders Ben Sanders and Andrew Lloyd are on the search for more members as one of Shropshire’s longest standing youth organisations enters 70 years of activities.

Chairman Ben Sanders said at the recent AGM meeting “We want this club to last another 70 years, but to do this we constantly need to search for more members to join in and see what we get up to”. Club officials report membership in recent years has been static and a fresh outlook is needed to ensure the survival of the club.  “If you know anyone aged between 14-26, tell them about our new members evening and don’t assume it’s not for you” Ben added.

It is to be the “year of celebration” continued Ben who promised great activities in 2014. Young Farmers is for any young person not just farmers, who want to enjoy an active social life.  Meetings are organised involving sports, entertainment, leisure, trips and visits with great opportunities available and lots of money is raised for charity.

Ludlow Young Farmers are holding a new members evening at Ludlow Rugby Club on Tuesday 29th October at 8.00pm – everybody is welcome. To find out more visit our website www.lyfc.yolasite.com.
