Take a look at what the papers local to Ludlow have reported:

One of Shropshire’s longest standing youth organisations, Ludlow Young Farmers Club has this year raised money for two worthy charities, ‘Brake’- the road safety charity and the County Air Ambulance. The National Federation of YF teamed up with road safety campaigner ‘Brake’ earlier this year and young farmers in Ludlow have raised funds to support the charity’s nationwide campaign called “Drive it Home”. In addition, Ludlow has donated money to the Air Ambulance, a charity they have supportedfor a number of years. Chairman, Laura Edwards said “These charities are vital in the rural communities in and around Ludlow; I bet every one of us can name someone who has unfortunately
needed to use these organisations making them a very worthwhile cause to raise money for.”

The club is inviting the public to celebrate with them at the end of year harvest
supper which takes place on October 4th at Ludlow Football Club; tickets are available to enjoy an evening of entertainment and  trophy presentations with
members and associates, of which marks its 70th anniversary next year. Club leaders will celebrate the successful year while thanking sponsors Breedon Aggregates, Brick Plant Hire and R. Harris and Sons Haulage for their support over the year.

The list of activities Ludlow YFC does each week is endless, anyone aged between 14 and 26 are encouraged to get involved and will be most welcomed at the new members evening this autumn. For tickets to attend  the harvest supper please visit www.lyfc.yolasite.com for details
