LYFC's Fun-filled Presidents Day took place on Sunday 16th September at Stoke Village Hall featuring a presentation of £1000 to County Air Ambulance this years chosen charity.
Members from Ludlow and other nearby South Shropshire clubs joined in the action packed afternoon organised by local farmer and this years club President Graham Price. The afternoon began with a rural car treasure hunt where teams split into separate cars and study clues given to them for the chance to win prizes. The Treasure Hunt took members on a 16 mile journey out of Ludlow through county road while trying to work out the 40 questions as they passed by landmarks, noticeable objects and buildings. On their return, Graham had a range of prizes to offer for the team that had answered the most questions in the allocated time, as well as a welcomed BBQ.Graham and club leaders Alan Hughes and Matt Norton then presented the County Air Ambulance with a donation of £1000 to one of the Air Ambulances ambassadors. The money was raised during carol singing from December 2011.
